Jacob started racing a kid Kart on the dirt at Beaver Dam in 2015, by 2016 he was the Kid Kart Champion at Beaver Dam and always running up front or winning on the asphalt at Badgerland Raceway and Road America. Then in 2017 he moved up to Junior Sprints and Competed regularly at Beaver Dam, and part time at Eagle River and Tomahawk Speedways. Jake won both heats and Features at both Tomahawk and Beaver Dam.

In 2018 Jacob will be competing full time at Beaver Dam, Tomahawk, and a part time schedule at Eagle River.
