Driver Profile

Chad began racing in 1999 at a local race track in West Union. Chad had to "sneak" into the driver seat of a Two-person Cruiser car for his first racing experience, Chad had to "sneak" in due to his young age. Chad's Family has been racing cars for 4 generations, from Chad's Grandpa Richard Dugan who raced in the 60's-80's off and on to Chad's Uncle Dennis Dugan, who raced from the late 70's to early 2000's, racing everything from Sportsman,IMCA/USRA Modifieds and IMCA/NASCAR Late Models. All the way down to Chad's two children Skyler (19) and Tatum (14) who began racing go-karts when each hit the age of 6-7. Racing run's deep in the blood of the Dugan Family. Chad's wife Stephanie is a major part of the entire operation, she handles everything from scheduling to maintaining race operations week in and week out, Chad has stated in multiple interviews that the wheels would fall off the whole operation if she wasn't in charge! "I'd leave the car behind if she didn't remind me!" Dugan stated in a interview with a local radio station KVIK during a on track interview. The Dugan's LOVE the sport of racing and they give everything on the track and in the pits, Chad can be found most night's helping and working on his competitors cars, just as much if not more than his own.
