About Zach
Zach Wigal AKA "The Flyin Ohioan" is a third generation, 18-year-old driver that just transitioned from the USAC National Quarter Midget Tour into Micro-Sprints and USAC D2 Midgets and now NOS Energy Drink National Midgets. Over the last 5 years he has won 188 Quarter Midget A-Mains and Championships in USAC Regional Series and most recently his 3rd Buckeye Winter National Championship. Zach started racing karts on dirt in 2014 at the age of 7, after several years of practicing at local dirt tracks. He is now transitioned from Quarter Midgets on pavement back to dirt racing in a Chad Boat prepared 600 Micro Sprint and a family owned D2 Midget. He is the USAC Speed2 Midwest Thunder Midget Champion for 2023 and the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget Championship Rookie of the Year in 2024. Currently when Zach isn't racing, he is attending Fairmont State University pursing a bachelor's degree in their Profession Pilot Program.
